				We sold a house recently and Jake was called by the buyer to do the inspection on the house and then we were given consent by the buyer to read through the report once it was completed. After having a substandard inspection performed on the house that we were buying at the time, I was very impressed with the report that Jake provided. He noted "marginal defects" in tons of areas that were very helpful to say like this may not be 100% correct but its not really going to cause a problem and is fine to leave as is. He also listed out all the things he tested and proved that things worked correctly or were up to par, instead of only showing the bad things.Not entirely sure why, but the water pressure he listed on his report was abnormally high, and was verified by 3 other plumbers that the pressure he listed in his report was not accurate. I don't know if his gauge is messed up, or if it was a fluke or what happened, but it turned out to not be an issue that was listed in the report.Now, I did not pay for this report, but I would've gladly paid for him to inspect the new house I was buying if we hadn't already been past our inspection period. Jake did a great job overall and put together a very professional report with good reference pictures and detailed data.

				There’s a reason Jake calls it a “profound” home inspection. There are so many details he pays attention to and highlights. Not everything is about “what’s wrong” with the house. There is so much useful information on where to find shut-off valves and switches that is helpful beyond identifying issues. He highlights things that might not be a concern now, but would become an issue if you don’t stay on top of things. I would highly recommend Jake if you’re wanting a detailed and comprehensive understanding of everything going on with a home. He has excellent and proactive communication and exceptional knowledge to help you make a good decision!

				Hands down 5 stars, not only was the report I received of my home inspection clearly laid out and full of detailed pictures and breakdowns of every issue that was found, but dealing with my inspector was a breeze, he was prompt and got me an EXTREMELY detailed report within an hour or two of my inspection, and he even called me to break everything down that he found, I have a background in construction and am familiar with the terminology and how codes work but that didn’t matter, if I knew nothing he still would have been able to explain how everything works and why potential issues might need to be addressed and how to go about that in a way that would potentially cost me nothing. I mean there was even infrared pictures demonstrating how well the insulation worked, I’m completely mindblown at the level of detail in the report. Absolutely fabulous service, I am buying my hose from out of state and I can’t tell you what a relief this home inspection was for me, he literally left no stone unturned and I couldn’t be happier with his service. An absolute pleasurable experience and worth every penny ten times over. Thank you so much Jake if I buy another home in the area or can ever recommend your service to anyone I will! We need more thorough and honest people like this in the industry

				I couldn't be more impressed with the inspection done by Jake. He did an extremely thorough inspection over every last detail of the house and made an even more detailed report. The report you get from him not only shows defects, (ranked minor, marginal, and major) but also educates you on why the defect is a problem and gives you solutions on how to fix it. The report leaves you with a vast wealth of information about the house you are looking at and educates you on home maintenance in general. So again, I couldn't be more impressed and would absolutely recommend Profound Home Inspections to anyone looking for a home. It is well worth it.
